I went back to the Puerperium pattern again for a cardigan for a new baby boy my friend had a few weeks ago. I love this pattern, it makes such a lovely finished cardigan and is a pretty quick and easy knit.
This time I used cotton, it’s great for baby clothes as it is far easier to wash. I used some left over Aran weight Rico Creative Cotton from my Chevron baby blanket. While knitting I was a little doubtful that it would turn out well, I didn’t really like the look or drape of the cotton but once all the ends were woven in and the cardigan was washed and blocked and the buttons were sewn on, it looked great.
I got the cute little hanger in the picture in Tiger…I love that shop.
